22 Days of Transformation, Day 3, 2nd March 2010
In speaking of presence, nobody says it better for me than Eckhart Tolle in “The Power of Now”.
” If you no longer want to create pain for yourself and others, if you no longer want to add to the residue of past pain that lives on in you, then don’t create any more time, or at least no more than is possible to deal with the practical aspects of your life. How to stop creating time? Realize deeply that the present moment is all you ever have. Make the Now the primary focus of your life. Whereas before you dwelt in time and made brief visits to the Now, have your dwelling place in the Now, and pay brief visits to past and future when required to deal with practical aspects of your life situation. Always say “yes” to the present moment. What could be more futile, more insane than to create inner resistance to something that already is? What could be more insane than to oppose life itself, which is now and always now? Surrender to what is. Say “yes’ to life – and see how life suddenly starts working for you rather than against you.”
“Accept – then act. Whatever the present moment contains, accept it as if you had chosen it. Always work with it, not against it. Make it your friend and ally, not your enemy. This will miraculously transform your whole life.”
From Chapter Two: Consciousness the way out of time.
“The greatest miracle is this: That stillness and vastness that enables the universe to be, is not just out there in space, it is also within you. When you are utterly and totally present, you encounter it as the still inner space of no-mind.”
From Chapter Seven: Portals into the Unmanifested
Acceptance of what is, surrender to what is, can you do that? Can I? Shall we practice that together? Just saying Yes, Yes, to what is. Yes. Yes. Yes.

Ah, Eckhart Tolle….a remarkable human being…I was in a workshop with him before he became a global figure and I knew great things would come from him…just being in his presence was a transformative experience….never mind what he said. Thanks for sharing his truth. Also for your photo…it’s beautiful!
Another transformative call. I have neglected my body for years and I know it appreciated the gratitude.
I was told to follow Eckhart Tolle by a stranger and I have never regretted following her wise advice.
