Monday 15th March
Fifteen days in to leading 22 Days of Transformation and building A Whole New World community, a heart centered tribe is forming, connecting by phone every morning for 30 minutes. Meeting intentionally in this way and entering into the visionary power of the imagination, combined with the feeling experience in the body, we are realizing what powerful creators we can be.
As the old world is crumbling more and more people are waking up to the fact that we can’t leave it to politicians to build the new world. We are the creators. And this transition time we are living in is a wonderful opportunity to create a-new; to build a world which reflects our authentic values; an outer world which mirrors all the potential of the inner.
The world is being re-grown from the grassroots, and in virtual global communities, and everywhere people are gathering new skills, understandings and competencies. Sometimes it all gets a little overwhelming, especially when it comes to knowing how to translate our purpose and passion into a life sustaining business, or managing the information overload of the internet.
Women have a vital role to play in these changes. The Dalai Lama has said that the world is going to be changed by Western women. Recently Marianne Williamson called American women to step up and take the lead in creating a more compassionate world in her Sister Giant initiative, and the tele-community, Women on the Edge of Evolution, has grown nearly 50,000 members worldwide in just a few months.
Women are on the move, we’re coming out of hiding! So many women I meet now are saying, “I’ve been a recluse for so long, doing my inner work, now I know it’s time to come out and take action.” We’re getting ready to bring forth our unique gifts based on our deep soul wisdom, healing powers, abundant creativity and intuitive connection to all life.
Yet for many women, just as there is a strong calling to emerge and take initiative, there is an almost equally strong fear. In the past, being a woman leader has been tough. In fact, being in and of the world has been challenging for women because the social and business worlds have not been built on our values and creative rhythms and we have often had to distort ourselves to fit in. Many of us carry cellular memories of terrible persecution from earlier times. And in recent times, feminist scholars have pointed out how female conditioning can make women competitive and distrustful of each other. When we stop and think about stepping out it’s as if a chasm opens up and all our fears are shouting at us from that void.
How can we bridge that gap and step through our fears, learn how to present ourselves and how to ask for money in exchange for doing what we love to do? Can we actually live our passion and thrive?
The time of figuring out how to do this alone is over. We are now in the era of co-creation and the leadership required to build the new world is very different to that of the old . Right now, we are so much in transition, everything is changing so fast and we are having to learn so quickly, it’s becoming clear we can’t look to leaders to be experts who pass on information and show us how things can be done. The way forward now is through building co-creative learning communities where we can share and inquire, learn and problem solve, discover and invent together; where we can draw out each other’s unique brilliance. Rather than looking outside ourselves for the answers we need to acknowledge that the answers we need are inside us and between us and that the most important part of building a business based on living our passion is the state of consciousness we bring to it.
The foundation of a passion based business is built from within. When you really know who you are, what your values are, and what gets your creative juices flowing; and when you find that purpose that is so real to you and you allow yourself to love it so much you just have to do it, then you are on your way. The foundation is built on authenticity, clarity, creating skills and inner mastery. Building your web site, marketing and all the nuts and bolts of running a business will be a learning curve that will flow much more easily once you have done the foundational work.
If you’re a woman who wants to make a difference in the world by living your passion, can you imagine being part of an intimate group of women who are as motivated and as soul-infused as you? What creative possibilities will arise from a focused learning community meeting over 10 weeks? What if this group was a creative lab in which you could try out your ideas and projects and know your peers were encouraging you and holding you accountable?
Soul Weaving, Mentoring for the New Feminine Leaders, is the next stage of my own soul work and it’s woven from all the strands of my life experience. I’m very excited at the prospect of sharing my skills, experience and wisdom with creative and visionary women who are ready to make a difference in the world as we learn and grow together. Will you be one of them?

Just as I was finishing writing, this message dropped into my inbox from Maureen Moss at The World Puja Network, www.worldpuja.org :
“Everything is possible when created at soul level, not personality level. Everything and anything that we so desire, that we hold the unwavering intention of love and appreciation toward and are in full alignment with, is possible, now, in the new dimensions we are living in.”
Each one of us makes a difference and together you can do what seems impossible.
